Our information shows that you have remained within the wilderness area outside of your assigned work zone.  A citation has been added to your work record indicating failure to follow orders.  Please return to your previous work site to assist authorities in their investigation.  Continued avoidance may lead to legal penalties, including…

WARNING!  FIRE DETECTED IN AREA.

We are showing a high heat signature and smoke originating from the wreckage site of train Y-64-Vi.  Fissionable fuels storage may be compromised.  Law enforcement personnel are vacating the site immediately.  Cause of ignition unknown; further sabotage suspected.  Please move away from the region, following the tracks toward GeVinVas.  A transport will be rerouted immediately to evacuate you.

(location unknown)

Worker ChoTen, please report.  Your last transmission was interrupted.  Your position has not changed in the last duodecad, nor have you updated status.  Why have you not reported or moved to a safe pickup location as instructed?

… ... ...

Thank you for your update, officer.  Our apologies for the trouble.  We are relieved that Worker ChoTen has been recovered safely and escorted to medical care.  He failed to report any head injury, but given the nature of his previous reports, we should have known something was wrong.  The loss of train Y-64-Vi was also regrettable, but thank you for evacuating everyone before it caught fire.  The official report will be amended to remove the erroneous information from our deluded repair worker.  I expect that he will recant his false statements before long.

While technically in compliance with previous instructions, your current heading takes you further into uncontrolled wilderness.  Most transport methods will not be able to reach you easily, as there are no established roads in that region.  The earliest transport we were able to divert was from GeVinVas and will require 10 duodecads to arrive.  Based on your earlier reports, you should avoid the area around switch 3 entirely.  We recommend meeting the transport around the tracks toward GeVinVas.  Can you navigate safely…

Well done in clearing the threat area.  We saw the detonation of Train Y-64-Vi even from here.  It must have been deafening from your position.  No doubt the afflicted law enforcement officers were directed to remove evidence by destroying the train and the victims aboard.

The problem now is that the only transport we could divert will be coming from GeVinVas, the opposite direction from your current travel path.  With the track and surrounding region destroyed at switch three, plus the possibility of hostile forces in the outlying wilderness, we cannot have that transport come directly to you.

Your remaining options are to attempt to cross the threat area and meet up with the arriving transport, hold your current position until we can divert another transport from TeKenVas, or walk further toward this city.  I’m sorry we cannot advise more specifically at this time.

(tracks to GeVinVas)

Excellent news.  We are relieved to hear that you met with the emergency transport out of GeVinVas.  Try to relax and compose yourself on the ride back.

Your eyewitness reports will help resolve a current crisis of information within EssTinTal.  Train Y-64-Vi was thoroughly incinerated at its crash site.  Given your reports, we have reason to believe it was destroyed in order to hide evidence of infiltration by Awakeners or some other, similar organism.  Warnings about this threat have met with resistance and skepticism.  It is uncertain to what extent this infiltration has compromised the planetary government.

Report immediately to TeKenVas Medical Center for evaluation.  This facility is best equipped to immediately detect foreign life forms, as well as to evaluate your mental health status.  Both functions will help validate your statements.

(wreckage site)

Your report makes no sense.  Our maglev trains are carefully engineered with shielding on all power systems.  Even a derailment such as described should not bring any combustible surfaces into contact.  It would require an outside ignition source to even start a fire, and the only active agents in the area are yourself and law enforcement…
